DA U18 Recap: De Anza, RSL post big wins

De Anza Force made it a weekend sweep of previously undefeated Vancouver Whitecaps, beating the Northwest Division frontrunner 3-1.

While the Whitecaps remain in first place in the Under-17/18 Northwest Division, undefeated De Anza has climbed to third. It’s a pair of ties that are holding the team back from a first- or second-place standing at this point.

Danya Kafai scored twice for De Anza, which also won the U16 meeting between the clubs.

In another key match over the weekend, Real Salt Lake-AZ took over first place in the Southwest Division with a 3-1 win over top-ranked LA Galaxy.
