Malik Henry stood out in a loaded group of quarterbacks at the Elite 11 L.A. Regional.

While the loaded 2015 class of West Coast QB’s was the story heading into the Elite 11 Los Angeles Regional, the standout group of underclassmen is what caught the coaching staff’s eye last Sunday.  Check out the top underclassmen from the 2014 Elite 11 Los Angeles Regional:

2014 Elite 11 Los AngelesKevin Davidson – San Ramon Valley (Danville, Calif.)
6-4, 215
Davidson can absolutely spin it.  Possesses a cannon for an arm, above-average anticipation and a great knowledge of the game.  Was willing to learn and adjust quickly during the event and should only get better as body matures over the next year and a half.

2014 Elite 11 Los AngelesSeth Green – East Ridge (Woodbury, Minn.)
6-3, 195
The lone underclassman with offers (Minnesota, Louisville, Pitt, Toledo) made the trek out from Minnesota to compete in the first Elite 11 Regional. Prototype frame and arm talent with a strong desire to be dominate.  Throughout the day he showed the ability to make every throw with great timing and control.  Needs to work to find consistency in his footwork and setting his shoulders for each throw.  Sky’s the limit for this young surgeon

2014 Elite 11 Los AngelesMalik Henry – Westlake (Westlake Village, Calif.)
6-3, 185
Henry didn’t just stand out among the 2016 QB’s, he stood out amongst the whole group.  Showed a great base and balance in everything he did. The ability to be coached and adjuston the fly is key to becoming great and he showed that ability all day long.  As the day went one he was moved up to the upperclassmen Elite group and more than belonged.

2014 Elite 11 Los AngelesDakota Miller – Mission Hills (San Marcos, Calif.)
6-0, 185
Miller came up from San Diego and impressed Elite 11 coaches with the pop on his throws.  High RPM’s on every ball, but could generate even more on zip if he improves his base and  gets way from just throwing with his arm.  Miller’s ceiling is sky-high if he continues to work to progress.

2014 Elite 11 Los AngelesDevon Modster – Tesoro (Las Flores, Calif.)
6-2, 197
Modster physically fit right in with the 2015 prospect and went throw for throw with many of them.  Showed consistently good mechanics and the ability to make any throw.  Does a great job keeping his eyes downfield under duress and can make things happen with his legs as well.
